Excel Sports was created by Mr.Sandip Halder way back 2002, our Founder, as the result of tremendous love and passion for cricket and other sports and spirit of an entrepreneur. He was extremely talented crickter, represented his state teams (U16, U19, U23, 1st Class) in junior & senior level and clubs at various levels in India and England and gained vast experience, as a players, and as coach & administrator…. From years of experience in sports field as a player he realised the importance of premium quality custom made teamwear, training & leisurewear, not only at professional level but also for amateur sports clubs, school, university teams, importance of premium quality performance fabric in sports that helps the athletics of all level to stay cool and comfortable even during games in hot summer. He also realised the demand of the custom made performance team wear , training & leisurewear as per specification of the clubs worldwide, and the demand of customised & personalised service in sports team wear market for clubs and individual at reasonable price and within the deadline.
Excel Sports started the journey as a trading business on 2002 winter from a very small room. We started making custom made team kit for clubs and Associations mainly in the Eastern side of India and clubs/county teams in England, Australia, and New Zealand. Excel immediately started getting huge response from the market and on 2007 we started manufacturing sportswear in a small manufacturing unit of 5000 sq.ft in Kolkata, India.
We have now extended our range of styles and manufacturing options for more choice and extended possibilities. We offer more variety and greater options than local shops, using specially developed sportswear performance fabric along with the design and attention to detail you will come to expect from us.

On 2010 we had introduced full range of cricket equipment under Excel brand covering Kashmir Willow cricket bats, English Willow cricket bats, cricket balls, helmets, batting pad n gloves, WK pad n gloves, kitbags…etc
Now on 2016 winter we have decided to offer the same service of customized & personalized team kit and cricket equipment in a bigger way – to all the professional & amateur clubs, schools, collage, university teams in India via our online e-commerce website www.excelsports.in .
